Chocolate Base

- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup conversation heart candies
Instructions
- Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the chocolate from sticking.
- Melt Semi-Sweet Chocolate: Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Spread Semi-Sweet Chocolate: Pour and spread the melted semi-sweet chocolate evenly onto the parchment-lined baking sheet forming a thin layer.
- Melt White Chocolate: In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips using the same 30-second interval method until smooth.
- Drizzle and Swirl: Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the semi-sweet chocolate layer, then take a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the two chocolates together creating a marbled effect.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle the mini marshmallows, Valentine sprinkles, and conversation heart candies evenly over the top of the chocolate while it is still soft.
- Chill to Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is firm and set.
- Serve: Once firm, break the chocolate bark into pieces and serve or package as gifts.
