Instructions
- Drain the Tofu: Carefully remove the silken tofu from its package and gently drain any excess liquid without breaking apart the soft block.
- Place on Serving Plate: Transfer the tofu carefully onto a serving plate, ensuring it maintains its shape.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and optional chili oil, mixing well to dissolve the sugar and blend the flavors.
- Pour Sauce over Tofu: Gently pour the prepared soy-based sauce evenly over the tofu, allowing the flavors to soak in.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds on top as garnish and serve immediately, preferably chilled for the best texture and freshness.
