Ingredients
For the Cupcakes:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line cupcake tins with paper liners to prepare for baking.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until the mixture becomes light and fluffy, ensuring a smooth base for your batter.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time into the creamed mixture, beating well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt to ensure even distribution of leavening agents.
- Mix Batter: Alternately add the dry ingredients and pink champagne to the creamed mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix gently just until combined to retain cupcake tenderness.
- Fill and Bake: Spoon the batter evenly into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool Completely: Remove the cupcakes from the oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.
- Prepare Frosting: Beat the butter, powdered sugar, and champagne together until the frosting is smooth and fluffy. Add pink food coloring if desired for a delicate pink hue.
- Frost and Serve: Once the cupcakes are fully cooled, generously frost them with the pink champagne frosting and serve immediately for best taste.

- Use sparkling juice instead of champagne for a non-alcoholic version suitable for all ages.
