Instructions
- Prepare Cucumbers: Thinly slice the cucumbers and pat them dry using a paper towel to remove any excess moisture which helps keep the salad crisp and prevents dilution of the dressing.
- Make Dressing: In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper. Whisk these ingredients together until the dressing is smooth and creamy with a balanced tangy-sweet flavor.
- Combine Salad: Add the crab meat and the prepared cucumber slices into the bowl with the dressing. Gently toss everything together with a spatula to evenly coat all ingredients without breaking up the crab meat.
- Garnish and Chill: Sprinkle fresh chopped dill on top if desired. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld and for the salad to chill properly.
- Serve: Serve the salad chilled as a refreshing appetizer or side dish for seafood meals.
