Instructions
- Prepare the bread: Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread to ensure a crispy, golden crust during cooking.
- Assemble the sandwiches: Place 4 bread slices butter-side down on your work surface. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each of these slices to add that classic pizza flavor base.
- Add cheese and toppings: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the sauce. If using, add pepperoni slices on top, then sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly to enhance the taste.
- Finish assembly: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the fillings, then cover each sandwich with the remaining bread slices, butter-side facing outward.
