Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, milk, egg, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until well incorporated.
- Add Barley and Mix-ins: Gently fold in the cooked barley along with any optional add-ins such as nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution.
- Pour Into Dish: Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the bake is set and lightly golden on top.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy warm for a comforting breakfast.
