Maple BBQ Glaze
- ¼ cup sugar-free barbecue sauce
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup (or sugar-free substitute)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the grill: Heat your grill to 400 °F (200 °C) to ensure it’s ready for cooking the chicken skewers evenly.
- Prepare the skewers: Thread the cubed chicken breast onto skewers. Brush the chicken with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper to enhance flavor and moisture.
- Grill the chicken: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them halfway through to achieve even cooking and grill marks.
- Apply the maple BBQ glaze: During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the chicken generously with the prepared maple barbecue glaze. Allow the glaze to caramelize and create a smoky, sweet coating on the chicken.
- Serve: Remove the skewers from the grill once cooked through and serve immediately with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

- If you don’t have a grill, this recipe works great in the oven at 425 °F for 15–18 minutes.
