Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Preheat an electric griddle to 350 degrees or use a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Mix Ingredients: In a shallow dish, whisk together pumpkin, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Add half and half and whisk until well blended.
- Soak Bread: Dip bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak on both sides.
- Cook French Toast: Butter the griddle, place soaked bread slices, and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Keep Warm: Transfer cooked slices to the oven to keep warm for up to 10 minutes.
- Serve: Serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
