Ingredients
Chicken
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Marinade
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Garnish
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, paprika, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Marinate Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring all pieces are coated evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
- Cook the Chicken: Preheat your grill to medium heat or oven to 400°F (200°C). Grill the chicken for 6 to 7 minutes per side or bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
- Rest the Chicken: Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute and keep it moist.
- Garnish and Serve: Optionally garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with your choice of sides like rice, tacos, or salad.
Notes
- Great served with rice, tacos, or salad.
- Add lime zest to the marinade for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
