Ingredients
Sweet Potato Fries
- 3 large sweet potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it reaches the proper temperature for crispy fries.
- Season Fries: In a large bowl, toss the cut sweet potato fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the fries in a single, even layer on a baking sheet to prevent overcrowding and promote even crisping.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through the cooking time to ensure both sides become crispy and golden brown.
- Serve: Remove from oven once crispy and serve warm. Optionally, sprinkle parmesan cheese after baking for an extra savory flavor.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the pan, or the fries will steam and not become crispy.
- For an added flavor boost, sprinkle parmesan cheese on the fries immediately after baking.
- Using fresh garlic or garlic salt can enhance the garlic flavor but adjust salt accordingly.
- Cut the fries uniformly to ensure even cooking.
