This Easy Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches is a beloved classic dessert that’s simple, satisfying, and always crowd-pleasing. Made with pantry staples and minimal prep, this golden-brown cobbler features a gooey center, juicy peaches, and a hint of cinnamon spice. Perfect for any occasion, it’s the ultimate comfort dessert that pairs beautifully with ice cream or whipped cream.

  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

1 can (420 g) peaches in syrup

1 stick unsalted butter (approx. 113 g)

1 cup all-purpose flour

¾ cup sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (adjust to taste)

1 cup milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Melt butter: Place the butter stick in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Set in the preheating oven until fully melted. Alternatively, melt butter in the microwave if your dish is microwave-safe.

Make batter: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in milk and mix until smooth.

Assemble: Pour batter evenly over melted butter in the dish (do not stir).

Add peaches: Gently spoon canned peaches along with syrup over the batter. Spread evenly without mixing.

Bake: Place dish in the oven and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and edges are crisp.

Serve: Let cool slightly, then serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

Use your favorite fruits or berries in place of peaches.

For more fruit, increase peach quantity but not the syrup.

To reduce gooeyness, use less syrup.

Sprinkle extra cinnamon over peaches before baking for added flavor.
