Shrimp and Seasoning
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Toppings and Assembly
- 6 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage or slaw mix
- ¼ cup chipotle mayo or ranch sauce

- Cook the shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
- Warm the tortillas: While the shrimp is cooking, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
- Assemble the tacos: Lay each tortilla flat and add a portion of the cooked shrimp, then top with shredded cabbage or slaw mix and drizzle with chipotle mayo or ranch sauce.
- Serve immediately: Serve the shrimp tacos hot to enjoy the perfect combination of flavors and textures.
Notes
- Add avocado slices or fresh pico de gallo for extra flavor and texture variations.
- Substitute slaw mix with finely shredded lettuce if preferred.
- Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.
- Adjust seasoning levels to suit personal taste, especially the chili powder for spiciness.
