Ingredients
1 premade chocolate cookie crust
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Extra chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the filling:
In a medium bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
Make the ganache:
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips and cocoa powder until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
Assemble the pie:
Spoon the peanut butter filling into the chocolate cookie crust, spreading it evenly. Pour the chocolate ganache over the filling, allowing the ganache to swirl slightly for a marbled effect.
Chill the pie:
Place the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the filling to set properly.
Serve:
Once set, garnish the pie with optional chocolate shavings, slice, and serve to enjoy the delightful combination of flavors.
Notes
Chill time: Be sure to allow at least 2 hours for the pie to chill and set properly before serving.
Make it your own: Feel free to add a sprinkle of crushed peanuts or drizzle extra chocolate over the top for added texture and flavor.
Storage: Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
