Ingredients
Dark Chocolate Layer:
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (70%+)
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- ¼ tsp peppermint extract
Topping:
- 2 crushed mini candy canes
Instructions
- Melt chocolate + coconut oil: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Stir in the peppermint extract.
- Pour onto parchment paper: Spread the melted chocolate mixture thinly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with crushed candy canes: Evenly sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the chocolate layer.
- Chill 30 minutes, then break into pieces: Place the bark in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until set. Once firm, break the bark into pieces.
