Egg Roll Filling
- 4 egg roll wrappers
- 2 ripe bananas, halved
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips or hazelnut spread
Finishing
- Oil for brushing or spraying
Instructions
- Prepare the wrappers: Lay each egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface, ready for filling.
- Add filling: Spread a small amount of chocolate chips or hazelnut spread in the center of the wrapper. Place half a banana on top of the chocolate.
- Roll the egg rolls: Roll the wrapper tightly around the banana and chocolate filling, folding in the edges and sealing the roll with a little water to prevent it from opening during cooking.
- Oil the rolls: Lightly brush or spray the outside of each egg roll with oil to promote crispiness and golden color when cooking.
- Air fry the rolls: Place the rolls in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Cook at 370 °F (190 °C) for 6–8 minutes until the egg rolls are golden and crispy.
- Cool and serve: Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Optionally, sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle caramel sauce for extra sweetness.

- If you don’t have an air fryer, bake the egg rolls in a 400 °F (200 °C) oven for approximately 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
