Ingredients
1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup breadcrumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs
¼ cup milk
Cooking spray
Instructions
Preheat the Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for a few minutes.
Prepare the Breading: In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Prepare the Egg Wash: In another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk until combined.
Coat the Chicken Tenders: Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure an even coating.
Air Fry the Tenders: Place the chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
Cook the Tenders: Cook for 10 minutes, flip the tenders, and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve: Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately while hot.
Notes
For Extra Crispiness: Use panko breadcrumbs for an even crunchier texture.
Check Internal Temperature: Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.
Don’t Overcrowd: For best results, don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
