Ingredients
Salami Cups
- 12–16 thin salami slices
Filling
- ½ cup softened cream cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped chives or green onion
- ¼ cup diced olives or roasted peppers (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the salami cups.
- Form Salami Cups: Press each salami slice firmly into the wells of a mini muffin tin to create cup shapes.
- Bake the Salami: Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 8–10 minutes until the salami slices are crisped and hold their cup shape. Remove and allow to cool completely.
- Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with chopped chives or green onion, and optional diced olives or roasted peppers. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mixing well until creamy and evenly combined.
- Fill the Salami Cups: Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the cooled salami cups evenly.
- Serve: Arrange the filled salami cups on a platter and serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
