Instructions
- Prepare the dressing: In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth and evenly blended.
- Combine chicken and celery: Add the shredded cooked chicken and diced celery to the bowl. Gently fold all ingredients together until the chicken and celery are evenly coated with the dressing.
- Assemble the sandwiches: Spread the chicken salad mixture evenly onto two slices of whole-grain bread or croissants. Optionally, add lettuce leaves on top for extra crunch and freshness. Cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
