These Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are a healthier, guilt-free snack with the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. Made with just a few simple ingredients, these chips are crispy, flavorful, and easy to prepare in under 15 minutes. Enjoy them as a snack or a fun treat for kids!

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

2 ripe but firm bananas, peeled and sliced into thin rounds (about ⅛-inch thick)

1 tbsp coconut oil or melted butter

1 tbsp granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)

½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel and slice the bananas into thin, uniform rounds (about ⅛-inch thick) for even cooking.

Coat the Bananas: In a small bowl, mix the coconut oil (or melted butter) with the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Toss the Bananas: Gently toss the banana slices in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, ensuring each slice is evenly coated.

Air Fry the Banana Chips: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If needed, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

Cool and Serve: Once done, remove the banana chips from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack. They will crisp up more as they cool.

Enjoy: Serve the banana chips immediately, or store them in an airtight container for later.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of sea salt or drizzle honey over the chips after they’re cooked.

Ensure the bananas are firm to avoid them becoming too mushy during cooking.

You can adjust the cinnamon and sugar to suit your taste preferences.
