1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp light brown sugar (plus extra for topping)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (plus extra for topping)
Pinch of kosher salt
1/4 cup cream or milk
1½ tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Glaze:
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 – 1 tbsp milk
Pinch of kosher salt
Instructions
Grease a large microwave-safe mug with cooking spray.
In the mug, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until the batter is fully combined.
Sprinkle the top with a pinch of brown sugar and cinnamon.
Microwave for 1–2 minutes, checking every 30 seconds, until the cake is set in the center.
For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl until pourable.
Drizzle glaze over the warm mug cake and enjoy immediately.
Notes
