These irresistible little bites combine creamy peanut butter and rich dark chocolate with sweet banana slices for a quick, healthy treat that feels indulgent—perfect for snack time or dessert!

  • Total Time: 10 minutes (plus chilling)
  • Yield: about 24 bites

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

½ cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter)

1 cup dark chocolate chips (or 70% cocoa)

1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)

A pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a silicone mat.

Slice bananas into ½‑inch rounds and arrange them in a single layer on the prepared sheet.

Using a small spoon or piping bag, top each banana slice with about ½ teaspoon of peanut butter.

Place the tray in the freezer for 10–15 minutes to firm up the peanut butter.

Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (double boiler), stirring until smooth. Alternatively, microwave in 20‑second intervals, stirring between, until fully melted.

Remove the banana bites from the freezer and dip or spoon melted chocolate over each, covering the peanut butter and banana.

Sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on each bite if desired.

Return the tray to the freezer and let the bites set for at least 30 minutes.

Once fully firm, transfer to an airtight container and keep frozen or refrigerate.
