Ingredients
¼ cup coconut oil
⅓ cup maple syrup (or honey)
4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
¼ tsp sea salt
3 cups rolled oats
½ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet.
Melt coconut oil and whisk with maple syrup, cocoa, vanilla, and salt.
Stir in oats and coat evenly.
Spread onto tray in ¼-inch thick layer.
Bake for 25 minutes, rotating pan after 15 minutes. Do not stir.
Cool completely before breaking into clusters.
Stir in chocolate chips and enjoy.
Notes
Do not stir while baking for big clusters.
Store in airtight container at room temp for 2 weeks.
Customize with nuts, coconut flakes, chia seeds, or dried fruit.
