Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking the casserole.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well to create an even mixture.
- Add Rice (Optional): If using, fold in the cooked rice to the mixture for added texture and substance.
- Prepare Baking Dish: Grease a baking dish lightly to prevent sticking, then transfer the combined mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
- Add Cheese Topping: Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the top of the mixture for a gooey, cheesy crust.
