Chicken Mixture
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
Additional Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked pasta or rice
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready when your dish is prepared.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir everything together until well incorporated.
- Add Pasta or Rice: Fold in the cooked pasta or rice to the chicken mixture, ensuring even distribution.
- Prepare Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish to prevent sticking, then transfer the chicken and pasta/rice mixture into it, spreading it out evenly.
- Add Cheese Topping: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let the casserole cool slightly for a few minutes before serving to allow it to set and be easier to serve.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to control the level of spice to your liking.
- Adding chopped celery or green onions will provide extra texture and freshness to the dish.
