Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Muffin Tin: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Form Wonton Cups: Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, gently shaping it to form a small cup that will hold the filling.
- Bake Wonton Cups: Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake the wonton wrappers for 6 to 8 minutes or until they turn lightly golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Mix Buffalo Chicken Filling: In a medium bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Fill Wonton Cups: Spoon the prepared buffalo chicken mixture evenly into each baked wonton cup, filling them generously.
- Bake Filled Cups: Return the muffin tin to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 12 minutes until the filling is hot, melted, and bubbly.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the dip cups to cool for a few minutes before serving to avoid burning and enhance flavor.
Notes
- Using rotisserie chicken saves time and adds extra flavor.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to control the spiciness of the dip.
- Top with chopped green onions or an extra drizzle of ranch dressing for added garnish and taste.
