Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 375 °F (190 °C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish thoroughly to prevent sticking.
- Steam Broccoli: Steam the chopped broccoli florets for 2–3 minutes until they become tender but still vibrant green, then set aside.
- Mix Eggs: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk (or half-and-half), salt, and pepper until fully blended and slightly frothy.
- Layer Ingredients: In the prepared pie dish, evenly layer the chopped ham, steamed broccoli, and shredded cheese.
- Combine and Pour: Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients, making sure everything is well distributed.
- Bake: Place the pie dish in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the quiche to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
