Ingredients
Egg Mixture
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk or cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Fillings
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup asparagus, chopped
- 3 oz goat cheese, crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready when the frittata mixture is prepared.
- Prepare Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk or cream, and salt and pepper until fully combined and slightly frothy for a light texture.
- Arrange Fillings: Grease an oven-safe skillet and spread the cooked and chopped bacon along with the chopped asparagus evenly across the bottom.
- Add Egg Mixture: Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bacon and asparagus in the skillet, ensuring the ingredients are well distributed.
- Add Goat Cheese: Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese evenly on top of the egg mixture for a creamy and tangy finish.
- Bake: Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the frittata is fully set and slightly golden on top.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing to allow the frittata to set completely for easier serving.
Notes
- This frittata can be enjoyed hot fresh from the oven or at room temperature, making it versatile for any meal time.
- Feel free to substitute spinach in place of asparagus for a different green flavor and texture.
