4.3 from 51 reviews

Tender, juicy chicken skewers cooked perfectly in the air fryer — a quick, healthy dinner ready in minutes, featuring a simple blend of spices and optional veggies for color and flavor.

  • Total Time: 24 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Chicken and Seasonings

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional Vegetables

  • Diced bell pepper
  • Diced onion

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken and veggies: Toss the cubed chicken breast and, if using, the diced bell pepper and onion with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until all pieces are evenly coated.
  2. Assemble the kabobs: Thread the seasoned chicken cubes and vegetables onto skewers. If you do not have skewers, you can place the pieces directly into the air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry the kabobs: Place the skewers or basket into the air fryer and cook at 380 °F (190 °C) for 12 to 14 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  4. Check for doneness and serve: Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165 °F (74 °C) for safe consumption. Serve the kabobs warm with your favorite sauce or side.

Notes

  • Marinate the chicken overnight with the seasonings for a deeper, more intense flavor.
  • These kabobs pair wonderfully with tzatziki sauce, BBQ sauce, or peanut sauce for added taste.
